I recently had a small exhibition with my friend Rob Freimuller, called Two Thousand and Eleven inside the NUCA Student Gallery.

The show featured work from year long projects myself and Rob completed during 2011. My project, Impulse Buys, involved drawing everything I impulsively purchased throughout the year. I printed out the drawings and displayed them on one wall, and also exhibited the sketchbooks with the original drawings in. Rob’s work was titled ‘Self Portrait’ and involved taking a photograph of his face every morning on disposable cameras.

In November I had a piece of work included in the fourth Savorr open submission exhibition, at Stew Gallery, Norwich. The website has just been updated with some photographs of the show, including one of my painting; Vicious Circle. There is also a video for the show on the homepage.

Happy New Year,
and as it’s now 2012 I have finished my Impulse Buys project, and no longer have to draw all of my impulsive purchases. The last few drawings will be uploaded onto my blog over the next week, click here to see them.

Myself and two friends, Matt Musk and Guy Jarrett, have recently made a new zine called Fukkbagz. It’s a black & white photocopy zine, available with a variety of different colour covers. It’s so DIY that my name and Guy’s name are both spelt wrong, and even though it says we all have ten drawings in the zine, me and Matt only have nine, but that’s self-publishing.
It will be available at the SHhhh! 11 Artists Show at Beach Gallery, London on the 22nd December - click here for more details.

I was recently asked to photograph an event, held at the YMCA in Chelmsford, called True Skills. It was part of a series of events held across the country organised by the energy drink brand KX Energy. It offered young people in the area the opportunity to try out various activities including DJing, Boxing, Graffiti/Illustration and Dance.

Visit my photography blog, We Know You Suck, for more photographs of the event, which will be uploaded very soon, including some manual photos.
